Oil Primed Belgium Linen on Birch Panel
After going to Culver, Indiana for a Plein Aire competition, 2022; I headed my RV up to Maine. My family flew in to join me at the Schoodic Institute in Winter Harbor, ME (Acadia National Park). We were there for 2 weeks. I think I had lobster every day in some sort of fashion.
I was joined by other plein air artists, as this was 2022’s Plein Air Magazine Publisher, Eric Rhodes, Invitational to paint Fall Color in Maine. This painting was done just around the corner from Winter Harbor.
Though it does not look cold in this painting, I froze my “tooty” off painting it. If you want to see the image that Eric Rhodes took of me, just ask.
