I once knew a young girl named Mia who was a senior in high school. She asked if I would be her mentor for the year. She had not yet decided if she wanted to be a doctor or an artist. As an assignment, I set up a still life to have her practice live painting with a medical theme…this is the setup. So “The Art Behind the Medicine” is about how they both can work together.
