Reflections

A tulip grows from a bulb and has 6 petals. They are planted in the cold, late fall so they bloom in the spring usually around Easter. I love them and every year get a big bouquet of them so that I can paint them. I always get red because that is my favorite color.

What I love most about this painting is that it reminds me of a couple just finding one another and falling in love…I think they are about to have their first kiss!
