One of my favorite places to paint is at Lake Ouachita State Park. It’s about 5 hours from home. I take “Nelly Belly” my art studio on wheels, lol, my RV! I have all the comforts of home but in the woods! This trip was the end of November 2024. Some days were cold and foggy and others, like this one, was calm and peaceful.
You can see the beautiful fall color is still present. The moment I saw this, I could not get to painting it fast enough…however, with the holidays approaching, I had to paint the majority of it after the holidays!
