I started this painting at the Quick Draw event in New Braunfels. I felt really bad because it was so hot, I did not finish it. Somehow it got lost in the midst of my other paintings from this plein aire event. When I finally found it, I knew it had good “bones”, as I call it.
I love it. I love the fall season and this painting reminds me of all the color changes and smells that come our way during that time.
*This is framed on a 100 year old ceiling tin…it is quite unique!
