The troll or "wishnik" (that's what they were called in the 60's) is a representation of me. The artist who bares her soul but is surrounded by those she loves and admires. They have been where I am and understand. Their art inspires me. Though my style is my own, I have been influenced by Impressionism and the freedom to let my brushstroke flow in a dreamlike manor. Realism, to me, is too much to the point…I would rather play and dream!
