2018 Publisher's Invitational to Canadian Rockies. Day 3; The weather had been predicted to be in the 50's but this region of Alberta Canada had a historical early snowfall. This did not stop me from painting en plein aire. Geared with ski wear and warmers, I trekked about finding places that inspired me. This is Lake Louise and I painted this in the snow and while it was snowing. Little did I know then that oil paints will stiffen up.
