Title: "Camping at Calhoun Falls"
During the month of August 2022, I traveled up to the Smoky Mountains, then over to Tybee Island and back west to Dallas/home. I saw a lot of wonderful country side, lakes and mountains. I even mistakenly (because of GPS) took my RV thru the “Tail of the Dragon”…so, now I am considered a “dragon slayer”, LOL!
Calhoun Falls, South Carolina. The state park was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean. Our site exactly at the spot and on the water with lovely trails. The biggest downside…ants, ants, ants. I had a hell-of-a hard time getting them “gone”; so it made this park least desirable on this trip but most desirable in regards to everything else. We had an excellent spot and I loved painting here. I actually painted 2 different scenes…this one at dusk.
