Oct 2020 – Fall Color Week; Plein Aire Magazine, Eric Rhoads, Invitational. In Jackson, New Hampshire.
I am thrilled to finally be able to get out of the house (Covid-19) and paint with fellow artists. There are 43 in our group. We flew into Boston and drove up to Jackson, NH. Seeing the beautiful fall colors is a feast. I love gold's, oranges and the reds.
This beautiful RR crossing caught me eye as we were traveling to our next destination to paint. I loved it so much, I decided this was my painting for the day. And a very good thing, because the next day there came a snow storm and the color was gone.
