Two Rivers Plein Air Competition in New Braunfels, Texas, 2023.
I traveled to the area for this competion in my RV. I stayed in a lovely yet very old park called Landa RV. Since my RV is large, I rented a SUV for the week, so that I could travel around the area and find some very cool and scenic places I wanted to paint. It rained off and on all week.
As I finished up on the "Rainy Day" version, the sun came out. So I walked up the shoreline just a bit and painted this one. They are both the same river, just one is a sunny day and the other rainy.
