A former Ziegfeld girl from Kentucky, Helen Lee Worthing (born Worthington) came to the screen in 1920, but her career proved a distinct disappointment. Worthing later made headlines by marrying a prominent black doctor only to have the union annulled soon after.

Alfred Cheney Johnston (1885 – 1971), known as “Cheney” to his friends and associates, was a New York City-based photographer known for his portraits of Ziegfeld Follies showgirls. He photographed Helen in 1920 many times, though his photo “plates” were black & white. He was devoted to nudes and glamour photography. I am devoted to art and beauty, as well!
