My husband and I had planned on being in Russia for three weeks on an invitational plein air painting trip with the Publisher of Plein Air Magazine, Eric Rhoads. Due to the state of affairs and Covid, we canceled. However, since wanting to get some plein air painting in, we decided to go to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and to the New York Adirondacks for Fall Color.
A highlight of the day was when we visited the old studio and farm (Asgaard Farm) of Rockwell Kent. We all painted on the property that day but I chose his studio. I was actually told by Eric Rhoads that I was probably the only other artist that had painted there other than Rockwell Kent…boy, what an honor!
