My husband and I had planned on being in Russia for three weeks on an invitational plein air painting trip with the Publisher of Plein Air Magazine, Eric Rhoads. Due to the state of affairs and Covid, we canceled. However, since wanting to get some plein air painting in, we decided to go to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and to the New York Adirondacks for Fall Color.
This was our first stop. The town is very cute and quant. Though it is small it has some very large industry for rehabbing and building quality sea vessels. There is also a lot of lobster industry. I love lobster so much, I had it two times per day! Funny thing, as I had painted this. Larry was taking my photo and one of the owners of the little punts got in it and paddled away! It’s a good thing I can paint fast and got it in…otherwise there would have only been three boats!
