My husband and I had planned on being in Russia for three weeks on an invitational plein air painting trip with the Publisher of Plein Air Magazine, Eric Rhoads. Due to the state of affairs and Covid, we canceled. However, since wanting to get some plein air painting in, we decided to go to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and to the New York Adirondacks for Fall Color.

This isn't my first time here. I love this place to paint and come here as often as I can while in upper state NY in the Adirondacks. My first time was in June, 2021. While painting a landscape, a fellow artist's husband, Buddy, decided he was going to fish. I just love the way the fly fisherman wave the pole with the string dancing. I was so impressed with the movements, that I had to quickly get it in.
