My husband and I had planned on being in Russia for three weeks on an invitational plein air painting trip with the Publisher of Plein Air Magazine, Eric Rhoads. Due to the state of affairs and Covid, we canceled. However, since wanting to get some plein air painting in, we decided to go to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and to the New York Adirondacks for Fall Color.

This is the only lighthouse on the mainland of New Hampshire. It is also called Fort Point Light, New Castle Light, and Fort Constitution Light. It was constructed in 1877 on the grounds of Fort Constitution, a Revolutionary War fortification.
