Thanksgiving, Exhibit, Christmas…now New Year!
Sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. I’ve was so busy getting ready for my exhibit at the Frisco Discovery Center that time got a way from me. My show was on November 28th and was very successful. A portion of my proceeds was to benefit a charity. I am happy to announce $2,500.00 dollars will be benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County…woohoo! And several other successful events came out of that show, as well, but I will blog about that when the time is right.
On December 12th, my art gallery down in Bishop Arts had its first art competition. My partners (Robb Conover and Darek A. Sanchez) helped me curate it. Even though the weather was nasty, it too, was a success!
For my new year project, you may remember me mentioning #MMS Project 52. This project will entail 52 photos of sculptures around the Frisco area, which I will then paint as an abstract, realism, or whatever my art heart desires! You definitely want to stay tuned for this round because it has some interesting venues!
