Frisco Arts Kickoff Party at Hall Office Park

Frisco Arts held a cocktail party to kick off their 20th anniversary.  It was hosted by Craig Hall at Hall Office Park, and guests included 3 Frisco mayors, councilmen, city leaders, original Frisco Arts board members…along with MMS and hubbs!

Many of you know that I began a project at the beginning of the year called #MMSProject52 where I am painting 52 sculptures abstracted,  surreal or impressionistic.  Two of the paintings were invited to be a part of this fund-raiser.  Craig Hall, an art visionary, wine maker, entrepreneur and developer shared some time with me enjoying my art.  I was very happy and proud.

On January 1st, the Frisco Arts Board President, Tammy Meinershagen announced in the Dallas Morning News – “Frisco Arts is looking forward to bringing the community together to celebrate the entire public art collection with an interactive, online map listing all locations, names of artists and mediums used. We are also partnering with Frisco artist Milessa Murphy Stewart, who will be painting a series of abstracts based on the public art. These paintings will be on display at the Frisco Arts Walk, and they are a unique way to show how art inspires us all. We hope families will come enjoy great art, food, and music at the Frisco Arts Walk. Contact Frisco Arts at info@friscoarts.org for more information.”

So needless to say…painting has taken a front seat.  I hope you will join us for a great event in October 2016!
