Here’s my story…
This will be the last piece of the year for the #MMSProject52. Due to degenerative bone disease, I will be having my right thumb joint removed. I had the left one done last April leaving me in casts and/or splints for over 8 months this year.
Frisco Fire Station #6 has this wonderful sculpture in front of this most important building. Not only did the movement of the curves, the cutouts and design move me, but it also has this amazing glass halo that is interesting.
“The Guardian” (so fitting for a fire station!) by Michelle 0’Michael made of Core-tin steel and glass; 2008.
