Pebble People

What was I thinking?
While visiting the east coast, I decided to hike around the beach area where historical estates were nestled on the cliffs. Hot and sweaty, the climb a bit steep at times, but the view was magnificent along the trail. I came upon a rocky area and noticed the stacking of stones. Later I learned that it was a spiritual practice. A form of worship and asking for good fortune. The stacked stones take on a human nature; people whose life is full of peace and tranquility; looking out onto the world for wisdom; the waves like a pendulum of a clock; patience that comes from being still.
